Preparing for the SRC: How to Write an Effective Proposal

In connection with the 2008 Students Research Conference scheduled for March 14th, we are organizing a series of training sessions to better acquaint interested participants with the conference. On December 6th, Professor Tivnan conducted the first session on how to write an effective proposal. The session included an introduction to the different kinds of presentations styles (poster, roundtable and panel presentation) and how to choose one that best suits your research subject and the developmental stage of your research. More detailed trainings on each of the 3 presentation styles will be conducted after the winter break.
